Eco Oxygen Lounge
We believe in health and the environment, and to us the two are intertwined. We have worked very hard to make The Oxygen Lounge as eco friendly as possible.
Our whole stall is powered using renewable energy via our solar panels that are mounted all over the back of the stall out of view, they are connected to our bank of eco batteries that power the stall through inverter technology, we have enough power to last us up to a week running everything on the stall including the lights and music.
All our flood lights use the latest low watt LED bulbs and we run our oxygen generators and infusers through low powered dc convertors, there simply is no need to rely on heavy diesel polluting generators at festivals anymore.
We don’t stop there, nearly our entire stall is made from recycled materials and products. The bar itself is made from sustainable timber from Scotland, the façade of the stall is all held up with reclaimed steel from old market stalls destined for the scrap yard which we have reworked and welded into something new, all the paints are non hazardous and the fabrics are recycled and supplied and produced by a local outreach group that helps homeless people find shelter, training and employment.
In our office we run all our computers and gizmos off the same solar panel eco battery set up plus we have a small wind turbine that gives us some extra power in the long winter months, our main vehicle is a dual fuel vehicle running on LPG the only viable supply fuel for us to run when we are on the road in the summer, but much more environmentally friendly then petrol or diesel.
What else can we say, we want to play our bit and help everyone else do there bit too when they breath our lovely pure o2 at The Oxygen Lounge!
