Our stall is unique and a real focal point of any market area or festival area, it adds atmosphere and character to the festivals we attend. All our staff are fun and love to dress up and have a laugh with the customers, we have roller skating oxygen tenders, burlesque oxygen generator operators and rocky horror style helpers, all with the aim of keeping the stall fun and fresh!
The theme of The Oxygen Lounge is New York’s legendary Studio 54, a place that has gone down in history as probably the best night club ever! There was a bit of luxury at Studio 54, it was little special and of course it laid host to some of the best musicians and artists to come out of New York at the time, it’s this that we draw upon in making the vibe of The Oxygen Lounge, we want people to be curious and intrigued and really enjoy themselves when they enter our little world!
With this in mind we have made extra effort to really make this stall look good both inside and out. What basically starts life as a 6m x 6m high end top hat marquee at the end of our set up is transformed into a swanky lounge bar complete with a urban façade making the frontage look like a real downtown brick building complete with a 20 foot neon glowing full on real night club sign! When looking over the festival horizon towards the sign, it looks impressive and realistic and draws people in to the market area to have look, at night it looks even more effective when it is all lit up and you can see the bar lit up underneath!
Inside the lounge feel continues, we have a custom built three sided (nearly 50 feet!) oxygen bar which is just like a normal bar if you have never seen one before except we only sell oxygen. The bar is leather clad and down lit by LED lights, on top of the bar goes the oxygen infusers which are aluminium oxygen aromatherapy filtered dispensers containing 4 different flavours such as, “Pink Pop”, “Ice Cuba”, “Electric Tea” etc. The customer sits on one of our 20 red leather chesterfield bar stools and then for just a few pounds, euros or dollars they can have a session of o2, not the o2 like in the air around us which is only about 22% but 95% pure oxygen that will help give them energy and rejuvenate them (you can read about all that elsewhere on the website here).
We have a nice hard floor to keep the mud at bay and off all the silk drapes we have hanging everywhere to keep the feel going, and of course lots of filament lights dangling and 'IF' we are allowed some very nice tunes! We love our music, we love that whole Studio 54 era, New York Dolls, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Talking Heads and lots of other stuff too, people like to come and listen to the music, try the oxygen and soak up the atmosphere! And finally we have the whole thing running off solar power and eco batteries! It’s all a bit different from your average oxygen bar and it creates a great buzz and looks really cool too!
